Making sustainability fun, one school at a time.
I'm a junior at Lincoln High School. I've been coding since I was 13 and I'm passionate about environmental science and technology. When I'm not coding, you can find me volunteering at the local community garden.
This is my second year participating in the Congressional App Challenge, and I wanted to build something that could make a real difference in how schools think about sustainability.
EcoTracker is a mobile app that helps schools track their carbon footprint through gamified challenges. Students earn points by reporting energy-saving actions, and schools compete on a leaderboard to become the greenest campus in their district.
Built with React Native and Firebase, EcoTracker has been piloted in 3 schools, helping reduce energy waste by an estimated 12% in participating classrooms.
